ABOUT OUR WORK
EcoViva supports community-led social justice movements in Central America implementing innovative solutions to poverty, environmental degradation, and climate change. We envision healthy ecosystems and thriving communities that offer a model for living well and in harmony with the earth.
Since our founding, EcoViva and our partners have protected endangered mangrove ecosystems; provided 14,000 people with water & sanitation access; restored valuable fisheries; released over 1.6 million baby sea turtles; organized thousands of people in disaster preparedness, promoted organic agriculture; and built political power from the grassroots up! Our partners are experts in protecting critical ecosystems and raising the standard of living of thousands of people in Central America.
